The children are intrepid hikers. Unafraid of cliffs, trails, or the unknown, they blaze a quick pace, leaving their old parents far in the dust, hollering "Stay in the center of the path!" behind them.
It rained only briefly during our trip, enough for us all to get soaked, but we dried by the time we reached the trailhead again. All part of the adventure.
Rock scrambling was an absolute favorite.
