We do like to spend our weekends in pajamas.  This is true.  

But we are distinctly under the weather this weekend.  Coughs and colds here.  Bleh.

First bike ride

We have finally gotten back out on our bikes!  We were so happy to be back on two wheels.

Of course, there were a few rough patches.  Not all the snow had melted.  We powered through.

It's fifty degrees for the first time in 120 days and we've gone for a walk.

Half birthday

It has been our Mama's half birthday, celebrated in usual fashion with half a cake and match candles.

 We dug right in.

It's a nature story, and a fable, all rolled into one.  Clever, clever girl.

Starcatcher Sunday

Who in our family loves glitter glue??

 We all do!!

 And thanks to Starcatcher Sunday at the Adler, we spent a happy half hour with it.

Weekend plans

Friday night.
Mama:
"Hey kids, what should we do this weekend?"

Anna:
"Two baths, a nap, read books for as long as I want"
Julia:
"One bath, some naps, maybe eat a sandwich"
John:
"One bath, stay in my pajamas, play with my puppy and my teddy, paint."

Except for John, who was compelled by syrup to take two baths, pleased to say we accomplished all of these real-life weekend goals.  And a few others.  Perhaps kindergarden is burning us out?
