Easter Sunday!

Easter in New Orleans is a little different than Easter in Chicago.

First, it was 80 degrees, so we could stroller around in our light spring clothes (we were adorable--ask anyone).

Then, instead of hard boiled eggs, we had beignets and cafe au lait at Cafe DuMonde.

Then we saw some Easter parades unlike any parades we have ever seen before. The ladies in the parade were all dressed up and drove around handing out stuffed animals, beads, eggs and candy!

The second parade was a real windfall for us in terms of stuffed animals and beads. Anna clapped and grinned the whole time while Julia slept very soundly.

Our Gramee is clearly the one setting the example for us!
