We went downtown Sunday evening to look at the lights and wander around. This is the time to go. Lots of lights already up and ready but small crowds. In Pioneer Court we learned how radio is made and played with some fancy color-changing lights. After a long, chilly, blustery walk, we warmed up with some delicious hot cocoa. It was a very tasty treat!
We joined the crowds of kids on Harper for Trick or Treating again this year. John stomped up and down the street in his dino costume. And the two girls had no trouble going up to strangers' houses to ask for candy this year! Happy Halloween! Trick or Treat please!
We took a break from our typical trips to the Arboretum to head to the Little Red Schoolhouse forest preserve one day. Our Da took 900 pictures and not a single one turned out! And we didn't even put John in the shot! Poor John was so tired he could hardly keep his eyes open, but he did manage to eat his granola bar. It was a chilly but lovely autumn morning. We'll be back!
