Our Grandpa let us in on a little secret when we were visiting last week. It was ice cream! We made what we feel to be an extremely impressive mess with a single strawberry ice cream cone. Thanks, Grandpa! We'll have to do it again soon!
Back when the weather was warm-- last week or so-- our Gramee came down one Monday and we all went to the beach! We took a caravan of beach equipment and strollers. The water was perfect temperature, but the sand was hot. John slept in his pop up tent like a little angel. And we played and played and played! Good thing we went when we did-- it's been chilly ever since!
Sometimes I have to fight to use my own things. Let's see... that's the lawn mower, the vacuum, and my sisters' two babies between me and my bouncer chair and swing.
We were thrilled to go for a bike ride with our Da. It was a cooler-than-average day, so we dressed in layers. Or rather, our Da dressed us in layers. Last Monday we dressed in our monkey finest--some of us were happier about it than others--and went to the Lincoln Park Zoo. John got over his initial fussiness and enjoyed looking at the Farm in the Zoo. Julia, Anna, and our Mama got to feed a cow!! And then our favorite part: washing hands. Monkey sizes up monkey:
