Snowshoeing

Feels like more than just a few weeks ago we went for a snowy tromp around the arboretum in snowshoes.
Here's Joe doing his best Bigfoot impression.
We picked the hardest possible trail.
This field is now covered in daffodils.

Nature

The children agree getting to spend lots of time outdoors is one of the best things about  COVID. Don't let them tell you otherwise.
Long walks? Love them.

Frigid nights? Even better.
Long walks in desolate nature? The best!

Science trivia

Pi day is Joe's favorite holiday
With tech assistance from our sullen tweens

we won!

Adventures

Check it out! We have been on a real trip!

No, just kidding. We went to minigolf in Bolingbrook.

April bowling

Lisle lanes has reopened, and we begrudingly agreed to spend an hour indoors with strangers for the first time in a long time.

They were 15 feet away and masked, and we managed to have a good time.

Happy birthday Twins Koz

The twins made themselves some very photogenic cakes this year!

We've been *so* busy

We are surviving the pandemic but not totally unscathed.

We are deep in the slow paced life boredom.

But! There are signs of spring.

Small boys emerge from their cocoons.

Soon we will be ready to once again live and fly free.
