La Villita 5K

It was twenty degrees cooler and drizzling for the Sunday 5K in La Villita. 

The children inadvertently but appropriately dressed in the colors of the Mexican flag.

Julia and I, in a show of consistency, met our Saturday pace to within 2 seconds/mile.

Garfield Park 5K

Bright and early Saturday, Julia and I got up and went to go run a 5K in Garfield Park. It was a small, scattered race, but we had a nice time and got bananas out of the deal. 

Others of us felt less need to enjoy the sunshine.

Happy birthday Mom

My birthday was a busy day of work, school, and curriculum night, so we celebrated with a quick dinner out. It was just nice enough to sit outside.

We were very hungry.
