We lunched at the roadside park next to the golf course park, shady and deserted. A 1920 Lincoln Highway throwback, it includes a pump and fireplaces. We're planning our next Route 66 getaway...

I met these professional looking golfers at the junior course right by the hospital after work on Father's day. They played 9 holes in under 3 hours, which Joe assures me is excellent fun for golfing.

Glow run

We stayed up way past bedtime to run the Glow Run 5k. We put on our neon best and all the glow sticks we could find and ran.
Julia turned in a sub-13 minute pace and A and John managed a sub-15 minute pace. Not bad for 9PM!
