Trip to the apple farm

In related news, we've been to the apple farm!!  It was the most wonderful crop we've seen in our years.  We picked sixty pounds, and nearly had the place to ourselves.

We've been busy

It's been a busy month of September.

But we're awake now, and ready to resume blogging.

Naperville Fling Mile

We got up a little early with our Mama and our Da, tied our shoes, and pinned on our race bibs for the Fling Mile.  It's a race along the parade route in Naperville.  We were excited to be there; our mama, who ran a half-marathon only 24 hours earlier, not so much.

The two girls led warm ups.

 

And then we were off!  We had a great race, turning in extremely respectable times.

And then we celebrated like true runners, with water and bananas.  And huge handfuls of candy from the ensuing parade.
