What did you do over your spring break?

CCM again

We moved to the bus room (another favorite) and continue our building projects.

Our daddy claimed the New Madrid fault led to the downfall of this structure.  We think it was the New John faulty.

Chicago Children's Museum

We had another marathon (6 hour) trip to the CCM this week.  We spent two hours building ourselves a great little structure in the building area.





It was a real family project.  We had a great time!

We have also been to the museum where it is completely appropriate to do this.

Museum of Science and Industry

We took the bus to the Museum of Science and Industry yesterday.

Our Daddy and the two girls visited the coal mine, and then we did some hypothesis testing in the weather exhibit. 

A hypothesis is an idea you can test.  Like which of these sliders will travel farther.  And we knew that!

We also learned about soy.


And John, ever clever, found a button to push that made a train go.  He was a happy, happy lad with that button. 

It was a great snowy day trip!
