We took a trip to Rainbow Cone!

Beach days

It has been 103 in the shade here in Chicago.  Fortunately, we live near the 57th Street Beach. 
This was the only way John could get adequately sandy.

Ahhh... nice and cool!!  The water is 65 degrees.  Perfect!

Fourth of July

We marched in the Fourth-on-53rd with our tee ball team

 and we have great sympathy for those who wrote the Declaration in that hot, sweaty hall.
