We have been doing a lot of cooking lately, in preparation for Thanksgiving and for general consumption. Can you tell what we are making in these pictures?


Apparently there are many three-year-olds who cannot work a pepper grinder.

We feel sorry for them, and their underseasoned food.

Michigan Avenue Lights

We went downtown Sunday evening to look at the lights and wander around. This is the time to go. Lots of lights already up and ready but small crowds.

In Pioneer Court we learned how radio is made and played with some fancy color-changing lights.

After a long, chilly, blustery walk, we warmed up with some delicious hot cocoa.

It was a very tasty treat!

It turned cold here... fortunately we are ready for winter!

Evolution

Trick or treat!

We joined the crowds of kids on Harper for Trick or Treating again this year.
John stomped up and down the street in his dino costume.

And the two girls had no trouble going up to strangers' houses to ask for candy this year!
