We took the bus (yay!) to campus last week to brush up on our epidemiology.
Fascinating!
We used our new knowledge to edit a few papers for our Mama. Lucky for us her officemate is in clinic on Mondays!

Apple apple A A A
We made our annual trip to the apple orchard last weekend. It was a perfect day for apple picking, and we timed it well-- it started to rain just as we were getting back in the car.
This year, we really got the hang of picking apples, and we went straight to girl-sized trees.
Our Mama and Da wanted some apples from some of the bigger trees.
Fortunately, our Da was willing to help us pick.
Besides picking, we were responsible for bagging all the apples.
We hitched a ride back up the hill with the farmer-- we loved the wagon ride.
Even John got in on the action.
And, of course, we ended our trip with our favorite part of apples: eating!

Star blankets
Our Mama keeps talking about things we did when we were John's age, like play on our star blankets.
Unlike John, who has grown into and out of the star snapsuits already, we wore them for months.
We've definitely outgrown snapsuits now, but we still love our star blankets!
For the record, we do not as a rule share our star blanks. But our Mama caught us in a good enough mood to take a cute picture.

Tea party
We got this tea set from Grandma (or Aunt Karen... we don't remember), and it has become a favorite way to have our snack.
Sometimes, though, what starts as a casual tea with our sister turns into a more complicated party.
Soon, it outgrows the table and becomes a picnic, complete with picnic blanket and bibs.
And before you know it there are dogs, monkeys, babies, bikes and girls.
John wanted to come, but he just gets milk.

Summer nostalgia
Back when the weather was warm-- last week or so-- our Gramee came down one Monday and we all went to the beach!
We took a caravan of beach equipment and strollers.
The water was perfect temperature, but the sand was hot.
John slept in his pop up tent like a little angel.
And we played and played and played!
Good thing we went when we did-- it's been chilly ever since!
