Millennium Park

Last week we went to Millennium Park with our Mama and our Daddy. The most exciting part of the trip, by far, was the transportation. We took (get ready) the bus. As you may know, we adore the bus, so riding on one for the first time in a year was a big excitement.

Once we got to the park, we had a great time splashing in the fountain.

We can't wait to ride the bus again!

Another lake

While we were in Grand Rapids, we visited Aunt Karen's new house on Murray Lake. It was chilly and rainy, but we have never been known to let a little bad weather stop us from swimming!

We enjoyed the sand

and the seaweed!

Trip to Grand Rapids

We went to Grand Rapids last weekend to visit our Grandma, our Grandpa, our Aunt Karen, our Uncle Steve, and our Aunt Kate.

While we were there, we also visited the zoo. We had the chance to pet a goat, and when offered that kind of opportunity, you cannot pass it up!

Beach babies!

We went to the beach with our Mama and our Daddy. We are fortunate to live close to the lake, because did we ever have a good time!

We can't wait to go back!

Here kitty kitty

We went to visit our Aunt Jenny last weekend. She introduced us to her cats, Junior (the friendly one) and Indy (the old granpa who sat in the bedroom and hissed).

We enjoyed her cats very much.

Much more than they enjoyed us!

Monkeys on our backs

Our Mama and Daddy bought us these backpacks to help keep track of us when we run around. We have taken to them quickly and enjoy wearing them around the house.

We don't actually need monkeys to be this silly. We really just are pretty silly.

Sporting girls

Our Daddy is an avid golfer, and he decided that 1 year is the perfect age to teach a game involving clubs.

We do not quite get the idea of golf, but we do enjoy the freedom to whack at things with sticks.

First fast food

Our Mama and Daddy are, for some reason, of the opinion that small girls should not eat greasy food. Living in the US, complete avoidance of greasy food is difficult, however, and so we recently made our first trip to Portillo's.

What was our opinion of hot dog?

We like hot dog very much. So much so that our Mama could hardly cut it up fast enough.

And french fries?

How on earth have we gone 15 months without french fries? They are delightful.
