Bath time!
We adore our bathtime. Now that we are big enough to sit up on our own, our Mama lets us splash in the big tub-- no more baby bath for us! We do get frustrated that she won't let us stand and jump, but a few well-placed splashes and we have our revenge, in the form of a soaking wet Mama.
While we are also fond of rubber ducks, our favorite bath toys are washcloths.

Bigger than a newborn!
Although we are big girls and we do many big girl things, we are, when compared to other girls our age, quite small. It is a little too easy to see our ribs!
Anyway, we went to visit our Mama at work yesterday, and while we were there we saw Dr. Crotteau and Jackie and apparently had a checkup.
Anna is 14 pounds and 11 ounces and 27 inches long.
Julia is 14 pounds and 13 ounces and 27 inches long.
We are, however, far bigger than our newest friend, Jack, who was born early Monday morning weighing in at 3 pounds and 3 ounces.
Congratulations to Jack's Mommy and Daddy!

Our favorite store
We do not ever remember going to Home Depot until we were about three months old. Since then, we make at least biweekly trips with our Mama or our Daddy, or sometimes all four of us will go. We love the paint department, but just being there makes us happy.
Sometime we will tell you the story of our 4-hour trip to the Home Depot. It was great!

Smart cookies, revisited
You may remember us from this picture in July, when we were learning to roll over.
And this one, from August, when we went to visit our Daddy at work and were learning about vectors.
Now that we are mastering the art of standing and have perfected the skill of growing hair, we are still smart little cookies.
While our Mama is somewhat chagrined to admit we still fit into these onesies, she does feel that she has gotten her money's worth out of them.

Garfield Park Conservatory
We went to the Garfield Park Conservatory this weekend. We were all suffering from cabin fever and it was good to get out. We really enjoyed ourselves there.
We were thrilled to learn where bananas come from! Here is us with our Daddy and a banana tree.
Besides trees and flowers, there were lots of other new things to explore:
Last time we were here, we looked like this:
It was two days before we were born!
