Summer stars!

We mentioned earlier that our Mama made us some patriotic onesies.

Here we are at Memorial Day:

The Fourth of July (our Mama is not sure why she did not take better pictures of us)

And Labor Day!

See how much we have grown??

Tiny geniuses: update

We went to visit our Daddy at Lewis yesterday. Everyone was happy to see us and we met lots of new people. We played on the floor, happy as two little clams. We really showed off, too--rolling and talking and smiling.

We learned all about vectors.

We made a good friend.

Coincidence?

Our Gramee watches us a lot while our Mama and Daddy are at work. Is it just coincidence that they came home to find Anna dressed in this?

We think not.

Doctor visit

We went to the doctor on Monday for our four-month checkup. We are four and a half months old, but our doctor was on vacation.

Anna is 23.5 inches long and weighs 11 pounds!
Julia is 24 inches long and weights 11 pounds 4 ounces!

We are getting big!

Minor leaguers!

We are Cubs fans, but our Mama and Daddy though we should start a little smaller. So they took us to the Kane County Cougars game. We enjoyed the game.

And the napping.

With hats on, our Mama isn't sure who is who.

New toy!

We love to bounce and jump while we are being held, so our Mama got out the Jumper Seat.

We are perhaps a bit small for it yet!

Spending time with our Daddy

We like to spend time with our Daddy. Lately he has been very busy prepping for his classes, which start in a couple of weeks. So we help him do that, too.

The universe is how old?

This is okay, but Caps for Sale is better.

This is what we really learn from our Daddy:

Trip to Grand Rapids

We left Twinsburg and drove all the way across Michigan to visit our Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Steve in Grand Rapids. We met lots of other people there, too, so we had to wear party dresses yet again!

Our Mama and Daddy say we were good girls.

Julia and Anna: now with award-winning identicality!

We entered two Twin Contests at Twins Days. We entered youngest twins, but we were only the 4th youngest set there. We did meet lots of other babies, and that was a lot of fun.

We also entered most alike twins, and we are pleased to say that we came in third.

We were just thrilled:

Well. Our Mama was happy for us. We were hungry.

After we ate we were happy to pose with our medals.

Trip to Twinsburg

We left Grandma Madigan's and drove to Twinsburg, Ohio. It is close to Cleveland and the site of the Twins Days Annual Festival. Every year thousands of sets of twins come to Twins Days. We went to a Wiener Roast (our Mama and Daddy ate our hot dogs), the Double Take parade (although marching bands, fire trucks with screaming sirens, and Model-T aaahoooga horns could not rouse us from our nap), and the festival itself.

We got all dressed up in our twin clothes:

Our Daddy and Mama had their twin clothes also:

We were thrilled to meet this year's Twin Kings (there are queens, princes, and princess as well).

Finally!! A celebration of us!

Trip to Tecumseh

We took our first vacation last week. On Wednesday, our Mama and our Gramee put us in our front carriers and we all got on the bus. We got off at the airport and got on an airplane!

We were good girls on the airplane. Julia slept the whole time. Anna ate and sat on our Gramee's lap and talked.

We landed in Detroit, where our Daddy picked us up. Then we drove to Grandma Madigan's house. It was nice to meet her. The next day we got all dressed up and went to our Aunt Cari's house for a Twin Party! This is us with our cousins Sophie and Ellie, who are 1 year older than us, and our cousins Christopher and Kiya Rose, who are just a week older than us.

Taking the twin picture was hard work!

Back from vacation

We are back from our trip, but our Mama has not gotten around to getting pictures loaded yet. So to tide you over until she does, here is a cute picture of us.
