The hiking was fine, I guess, but our absolute favorite part was the rock scrambling.  

 We are expert rock scramblers, especially John, in spite of his limited previous experience.

Trip to Starved Rock

We have made our first trip to Starved Rock.  We had a great day hiking and exploring, with an absolute minimum of whining.  

There were some awesome places to climb, too.

Anniversary

Our mama and Da have been married for twelve years. Here's a picture of them from their anniversary this year  (watching us play).
